Chamber Members with small businesses of 1-10 employees are eligible for ten (10) $500 grants for small businesses, which do not have to be repaid. Applications may only be accepted online via the digital application form, which will be linked here on Thursday, April 30 at 12:00 PM (EST). Please read all the below requirements for a successful submission.
In 2017, a partnership between EACC and Elizabethtown College, “Destination Etown,” was selected by Lancaster County Community Foundation’s BB&T Economic Growth Fund program to receive funding designed to stimulate economic growth in the Elizabethtown Area. Elizabethtown College contributed $5,000 to the Revolving Loan Fund portion of the program which is open to active EACC members.
Backed by a desire to provide support to our local businesses, Elizabethtown College graciously offered to amend the use of their contributed funds from a loan to a grant, the Foundation approved the amendment, and our Chamber board of directors voted unanimously to provide this opportunity to our members.
The application for these funds will be available on April 30, 2020, at 12:00 PM (EST). The $500 grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis and tracked by the timestamp of the application entry. Only active Chamber members operating small businesses (1-10 employees, 2 part-time employees equal 1 employee) will be eligible to participate. Only one entry per business.
