Call for nominations for EACC
Appreciation and Rising Star awards. Deadline

The Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce is currently receiving
nominations for its Chamber Appreciation and Rising Star awards, which will be
presented at the Elizabethtown Gala on March 30. If you would like to nominate
a business, individual or association exemplifying leadership in the
Elizabethtown community for the Chamber Appreciation Award, download this form
and submit it to EACC.
If you would like to nominate a business which was established in
Elizabethtown during the past two years (2010-2011), has shown creativity in
its efforts to attract and maintain customers to its Elizabethtown location,
and has become an active member of the Elizabethtown community for the Chamber
Star Award, download this form and submit it to EACC.

2012 Gala Auction. Call for Auction

EACC is currently receiving donations for our Gala's Auction. We are
hoping that you would partner with us and assist us in making a donation for
the auction. If you and/or your business would like to contribute an auction
item(s), please complete the Auction Donation Form and submit it to the
Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce by no later than Friday, March 9th. This event serves as a major fundraiser for
the Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce. Your partnership will assist us in
keeping Elizabethtown and its business community strong and vibrant!

State of the Borough. Thursday, March 8, 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Following the EACC Board of Directors, Roni Ryan, Manager of the
Elizabethtown Borough, will provide us with the latest update of the Borough's
activities and developments and how these may impact our local business
environment and community at large.
Join us for lunch to learn more about the state of the Borough! Lunch
options are listed below:
* burger & choice of cheese, if wanted, with fresh cut fries
* caesar salad with sauteed shrimp
* spicy fish wrap with fresh cut fries
And 1 non-alcohol beverage

2012 Elizabethtown Gala. Friday, March
30, 6:00pm
The Gala Committee has announced the date for this year's Gala. It will be held
Friday, March 30th at Elizabethtown College in the Susquehanna and Swatara
Rooms, beginning at 6:00pm. We will be raising money to support the
Elizabethtown Area Chamber with silent and/or live auctions, and the Vincent W.
O’Connor Award will be presented. If you would like to donate an item or
service for the Gala’s Auctions, please complete the Auction Donation Form, and fax/email/send it
to the Elizabethtown Area Chamber Office by no later than Friday, March 9th.
ASSETS Business Conversations Informational Session. Wednesday,

has partnered with ASSETS to provide business counseling and assistance to our
members. ASSETS will provide this free assistance in monthly meetings with EACC
members. If you are interested in participating of this business counseling and
mentoring program plan to attend the informational session on March 28 at
EACC’s office located in the train station. Contact

EACC/SCORE Business Roundtable Sessions. Third Thursday of every month, 7:30am-9:00am
EACC
has partnered with SCORE-Lancaster to provide free business assistance and
guidance to EACC members only. During these valuable sessions, participants
select the topic for analysis and discussion –usually an issue that the
participants and the organizations they represent are facing. SCORE-Lancaster
facilitates the session with the attendance of an expert of the topic to be
discussed. At the end of the sessions, solutions and best practices are
identified to overcome the selected issue. The session is open to up to 15 EACC
members and they are held at the Elizabethtown Public Library. To register please
