The E-town Dollar Program was created to encourage patronizing Chamber Member businesses.
Buying from local businesses recycles dollars into the area. For example: if a family spends $9,000 locally each year, those dollars would generate another $3,870 as they made their way through the local economy, for a total of $12,870 in local sales. If the same family spent $10,500 each year, it would generate a total of $16,170 in local sales.
If 400 area families increased their local spending to $10,500 a year, it would bring another $1.32 million to the local economy every year.
Buying locally really does make a difference!
E-town Dollars are available at the Chamber / Main Street Office in $5, $10 and $20 increments.
